Privacy Policy
How information submitted through our public consultation form is used.
Effective date: October 8, 2026. This notice applies to the public website and its initial consultation request form. A future client document-intake system will require a separate, more detailed privacy and security process.
Information you provide
When you request a consultation, we ask for your name, email address, the research service you're interested in, and a brief message about your goals. You may also choose to share countries or regions related to your family history. Please avoid submitting sensitive identity numbers, official identity documents, or other confidential records through the public contact form.
Why we use this information
We use your inquiry to respond, discuss possible genealogical research services, prepare for an initial consultation, and decide whether to provide a separate project quote. Submitting a form does not create a client relationship or authorize paid research.
How the form is processed
The public contact form uses Formspree, a third-party form service, to receive and route submissions to our business email. Your inquiry may be processed and retained by the form provider and our email host according to their terms and privacy practices. Please review Formspree's privacy information before submitting.
Retention and requests
We retain inquiries as reasonably necessary to respond and manage follow-up communications. If you would like us to correct or delete information you provided in an inquiry, please use the contact form and identify your request. Certain information may need to be retained where required by law.
Website technology
Our website is hosted using Cloudflare infrastructure, which may process technical request data to deliver and protect the site. We do not currently use advertising trackers or sell information submitted through the consultation form. This policy should be reviewed if the website's services or technology change.
Important limitation
This policy describes the initial public website. Before enabling invitation-only genealogical intake and document uploads, we'll publish suitable additional disclosures and implement appropriate access restrictions, storage safeguards, and retention arrangements.
